Objectives

  1. To make aware the students and people regarding different types of fires

  2. To educate people about various preventive measures to be taken on-site

  3. To educate people about how to deal with different types of fires

  4. To protect environment from fire

  5. To give hands on training to the people regarding handling of various fire fighting equipments

  6. To analysed the risk factors in domestic as well as in Industrial areas

Mechanism of the activity:

UGC Funded Activity organized by Department ofIndustrial Chemistry in Colaboration with Amravati Municipal Corporation , Amravati Fire Safety Department and Rekha Gas and Domestic Appliances Delear Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited

The activity is divided in to two sessions. In the first session Mr. Saiyad, sub- station fire officer, AmravatiMunicipal corporation Amravati delivered very interesting lecture on Fire Safety Management.

In the second session Mr. Sanjayji Akarte, Director, Rekha Gas and Domestic Appliances was a chief guest. In this session Mr. Lokesh Saksena, Area Sales Manager, Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited deliver a lecture on precautions to be taken during use of LPG.

  2. Students and people get aware about risk factors in domestic and industrial fires

  3. They get basic ideas about handling of fire fighting equipments.

  4. People became aware regarding different types of fires and preventive measures to be taken.
